Jade at the Zoo
We took Jade to the Zoo for the first time yesterday, and wow did she love it!!!
Jade loves Animals, in the morning she watches Barnyard and she is in complete awe over all the animals – all her favourite books are her animal books. She can name every animal in Afrikaans and English and make their sounds, its sooooo cute!
But to see her face with the real Elephants, Tigers, Lions and Zebra’s was absolutely priceless! Especially when she saw the Elephants, it was so cute. She didn’t say much when we were there but her facial expressions spoke for itself. She fell asleep at about four, completely drained from all the excitement. When we got home and she woke up she was in overload and we just had to hear about the Elephants and Giraffe’s and the Camels.
Oupa and Ouma Nella went with us and I think they enjoyed it just as much us we did! We so happy they came with because it made the whole experience complete!
When she woke up this morning, we asked her what did you see at the Zoo yesterday, she replied : “Maatjies” – so sweet and innocent, and yes there were a lot of other “maatjies” at the Zoo too! She also then named all the animals she saw, the cutest thing was when I asked her: “Didn’t you see Camels?” and she replied: “Yes three”…lol lol.
Here are some photo’s of our special and day and our Beautiful Jade.
“Thank you God for being able to share these wonderful experiences with Jade, we are truly blessed and it’s all thanks to You. Amen”

31 Days of Prayer for Your Child
I BELIEVE ONE OF THE GREATEST GIFTS YOU CAN GIVE YOUR CHILD IS A PRAYER. HOW WONDERFUL IT IS TO PUT THE MOST PRECIOUS GIFT TO YOU IN THE HANDS OF OUR WONDERFUL LORD.

May my child learn that the result of humility is fear of You along with wealth, honor, and life (Proverbs 22:4)
COMPASSION:
May my child understand that You are good to everyone; Your compassion rests on all You have made (Psalm 145:9)
GENEROSITY:
Instruct my child to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, and to be willing to share (1 Timothy 6:18)
PEACE:
Thank You, Lord, that You are able to keep my child in perfect peace as her mind trusts in You (Isaiah 26:3)
GOD’s PROTECTION:

God does not allow bad things to happen…
There has been so many times, when something bad happens in life or to someone you care deeply about. Even to strangers that you just think: HOW CAN GOD ALLOW THAT TO HAPPEN?
Our God is GREAT and he is a God of LOVE!
Not so long ago I watched a movie about a guy who lost his wife and he was left with his young daughter. He met a woman who also lost her husband. The man was VERY religious and prayed and spoke to God everyday and lived with in alignment with God in whatever he did. The woman has lost her faith because of the loss of her husband and she questioned how God could allow something like that to happened. The one day they were talking and he said he was just going to go pray he will be back shortly. She stopped him and asked him:
“How can you still believe? How can you pray to a God that allowed your wife to die, to leave you broken hearted and your daughter to grow up without her mother? How can your God allow that?”
He then told her to walk with him and he took her to the place where he prays and said to her:
“My daughter can walk next to me and she can fall, with me being right there beside her, that doesn’t mean I allowed her to fall, but the important part is, that I was there to pick her up and wipe her tears away and carry her further! That’s the same with God, he doesn’t allow us to get hurt, but he is ALWAYS there to pick us up, wipe away our tears and carry us further”
I hope this meant as much to all of you as it did to me!
Have a blessed weekend!
All my love

is so bevoorreg.

"hang in there"
In Jesus se naam alleen. Amen"
