Broodtjie tyd, Jade and just a small thank you to you all! :-)

For everyone who knows Jade, she loves Broodjies, Chippies and Mielies!

On Thursday afternoon when I picked her up from school her teacher said, she is so cute. When they get to school they have porridge and then at 10:00 they have Broodjies. Everyday at 10 the teacher will say: “Maatjies, dis broodtjie tyd” and now when she just says “Maatjies…”, Jade gets all excited and starts running towards her screaming “Broodjie tyd, Broodjie tyd”

She also asked me if Jade could join the older kids with Playball, because although her class only starts next year with Playball, Jade is definitely ready!
I think she is going to love it!

Then in the week, Granny said she will take Jade to Kindermusik class, which I know she will LOVE! Jade absolutely loves music, whenever a upbeat song plays she dances and claps hands and turn in circles. You can just see the enjoyment on her face! It’s priceless! So, hopefully from next week she will be able to go to her first music class! I wish I could take her, but I think the classes are only in the week. But I know she will enjoy Granny going with her just as much!

She also got her first report card at school, I am sooooooooo proud of her, all her the remarks are a 100% positive! They say she is a changed child from the beginning of the year, she loves her friends and her teachers. We can also definitely see a change, she doesn’t cry at all when you drop her off anymore, she just kisses you goodbye and then go to her friends, in the afternoon when we pick her up she is so excited to see me or William, it’s the nicest feeling in the world!

We took her cot out of her room and she got a bed now, it was so sad for me!
But she never sleeps in her cot (because she sleeps right between William and I…lol lol…I know I know…but I can’t help it) So we got her a bed, with the intentions of me lying with her until she falls asleep and then going to our room and if she should wake up during the night, go lay by her, and then hopefully eventually she will be able to sleep in her own room. Okay, that was the intentions….the reality…the room look beautiful…but Jade still sleeps right between William and I! One day…one day! She is just so small I can not imagine leaving her all alone in her own room, it will break my heart! Besides they small for such a little time, before we know it she won’t want to sleep by us anymore, because it will be “un cool” (easing my own conscious…I know, but it works! Lol lol)

I just realised again this weekend how blessed I am! I have the most wonderful little girl in the world, she truly only brings joy wherever she goes and touches every single person’s life that she comes in contact with! I have a wonderful hubby, who is irreplaceable, family that are worth more then all the diamonds and ruby’s in the world and friends that are true and rare! So I just want you all to know that I love you so much and I really appreciate every single person in my life!

“THANK YOU GOD FOR BLESSING ME SO RICHLY”

Prayer for our Precious Jade:

Heavenly Father, You’ve answered always,
my feeble trains of thought…
down the highways, alleys and byways,
though Your path wasn’t always sought….

You’ve always blessed me richly,
and Your love for me is free,
not one penny did it cost,
the ride to You from me.

The gifts I have are many,
not one of them deserved…
You, my friend, are always steadfast,
when chaos fills my world.

Then, You blessed me one more time,
and a daughter came to be…
Oh! The depth of joy untold,
this gift from You to me!!!!

You alone, my Holy Master,
above all, and no other….
bestowed me with the priceless gift
of being Jade’s mother.

Whom else could I entrust the care
of this precious little child?
Hold her in Your gentle warmth,
walk by her side each mile.

Bathe her in Your loving care,
answer when she calls,
oh, watch over my priceless privilege,
Father of us all.

Amen.
