Potty training....YES...I peepee in the potty now!!

I'm so proud of Jade, we started last week monday with Potty training (13 Sep 2010).
Last week she still made lots of oopsies and I could tell she was a bit nervous and not sure what is all happening now.

We got her the cutest book that show's her how a "maatjie" goes to peepee on the potty and then afterwards she gets a sticker on the chart and Mommy and Daddy claps hands. The chart seemed to do the trick! Over the weekend its liked it just all clicked, she even sleeps without a nappy in the afternoon and when she wakes up she tells you: “Mommy, Jadie wants to make a poopoo” (that’s a peepee) , we then take her to the toilette and she then says: “It’s coming!!!” “Listen Mommy” and when she finished she says, very proudly: “Jadie made a peepee” then we Hi-5!!! We flush and wash hands and then get her chart and she can choose her own sticker and we put a sticker on!
Yesterday she only had one oopsie!

She still sleeps with a nappy during the night, but when she woke up this morning first thing she said was: “Jadie wants to make a poopoo”

I am so unbelievable proud of Jade, it’s such a big milestone and it’s unreal to think my little baby does not wear nappies anymore. Nappies or not she will always be my baby!!!

Jadie, mommy loves you more than anything else in this world, and I am soooooooooooo proud of you!! You are amazing and every little thing you do, warms my heart!! I love you endlessly!!!!

Jade Playball Parents day 20.09.2010

Jade does playball every Thursday and Saturday was her Parents day.
It was SOOOOOOOOOO much fun!! William and I got to do playball with her.
It’s amazing how clever they are!
The cutest thing was when they were finished and they all stood in a circle and put their hands together and shout GO GO PLAYBALL!!! Lol lol And then the HI 5 the teacher!

I’m so blessed to be able to share all these experiences with Jade, I can not thank God enough for Jade…she is too precious for words!

From the 2nd of October she is going for swimming lessons at Ryk Neethling’s swim academy! So watch this space for photo’s…. I can’t wait, think we going to have so much fun!!!

Prayer...by Jade

In July I posted a clip of Jade praying in Afrikaans.

Last night she said her first English prayer:

"Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the Lord my soul to keep. AMEN"

It is too cute for words! I’m going to try and take a video clip soon and also post it!

Now before we go to sleep we pray twice, once with Mamma en once with Daddy!

Jade and Daddy....

I love this photo of Jade and William, it looks like God is shining his blessings on them!!

Jade and William are so close and my heart wants to burst with Joy when I see them together.

A father is such an important part of your life - and Jade is truly blessed to have William. He loves her unconditionally, he always has time for her, he puts her first and he always teaches her stuff and help her discover stuff, like grasshoppers and butterflies and busses and cars, also the important stuff like saying please and thank you and explaining to her that it’s a good thing to give up your smartie money for the church and then two days later buying her the biggest smarty box he could find! Small things….but they are priceless.
It’s comforting to know that Jade grows up with a Father that will always be there and a Father that will support and love her in all that she does!

“God, thank you for William and Jade, thank you for blessing me with them ! Please protect them and be with them both everyday of their lives, also bless their relationship, may they always be as close as they are today! Guide me and William to be the best possible parents for Jade, because we can not do anything without You! We love You and thank You again for all the uncountable blessings in our lives. In Jesus Name. Amen”

Time spend with my cousins!

Jade, Hannah and Noa don't see each other much, but boy when they do, they have so much fun!!!

It warms my heart seeing how they play and bond!!!

Here are some photo's taken last week and over the weekend.
