William was bathing Jade and when she got out, she asked him: "Daddy make me a towel dress like Mommy's"  - There you go...so cute!

My Brave little Sickies...

My Jadie is sickies, we had a bad night on Saturday, she had fever and her nose was bleeding, I felt to sorry for her. Sunday, we first had Wimpy breakfast...then we went to the doctor. When Jade got to the doctor, she asked us what is wrong and Jade said to her very sadly: "My whole body is paining and my throat is sore and my head is sore, I dont feel well" Such a big girl. The doctor put her on the bed and did a whole check up, and Jade was such a good girl, the doctor said she wishes all the children can be this good and gave Jade not 1 but 2 suckers :-)

Once we were in the car, Jade asked where we going and I said we just going to Dischem to pick up your mooty, to which she wisely replied: "But I feel better now, the suckers helped"

Mmmm...I wish it was that easy my Angel!

Get better soon beautiful Jade, we love you so much.

A daughter is a daughter all her life...

I received this beautiful message from my wonderful sister in law Tracy, just had to share it:

A couple made a deal the night of their Marriage to NOT open the door of their room to anybody who comes knocking in the morning for any reason!

In the morning, the parents of the husband came and knocked on the door, the husband and wife were looking at each other and as they agreed before, they didnt open the door.  After a while the parents of the bride came knocking at the door to check on them, the couple were looking at each other, then the bride dropped a tear and started crying, she said: "I cannot keep them knocking and not open the door, I miss them already." The husband didnt say anything and he let her open the door for her parents.

Years & years passed and the couple had 5 children, the first ones were boys and the 5th one was a little girl, when she was born the father was extremely happy that Almighty God blessed him with her, and he threw a huge party for her in grand style, people were so amazed with his joy and his happiness that they asked him, why are you so happy with her more than you were before with her older bothers?

He answered simply: "She is the one who will open the door for me"

BABY GIRLS ARE THE COMFORT OF THE EYES OF THEIR FATHER

THEY HOLD THE KEY TO THEIR MOTHER'S HEART

A SON IS A SON UNTILL HE MEETS HIS WIFE, A DAUGHTER IS A DAUGHTER ALL HER LIFE

I love THE AVENGERS, TRANSFORMERS and especially X-MEN about just as much as I love EAT PRAY LOVE, TWILIGHT and A KNIGHT'S TALE, maybe thats one of the reason's why God blessed me with a little Girl and a little Boy!!

I just realised again how much more fun and exciting life is going to get with the arrival of my Logan.

"I can't wait to meet you...and I can't wait to have fun filled adventures with you my beautiful baby boy."

Oumie's 1st 3D movie

Oumie Nettie, Jade and myself watched BRAVE in 3D, it was Oumie's first 3D movie and she enjoyed it just as much as Jade. But I think Jade LOVED it even more because her Oumie came with.

Next up...Tinkerbell and the Secret of the fairy wings...

Dankie Ouma dat jy saam gegaan het, was so lekker dag. Ons is baie baie lief vir Ouma/Mamma!

I felt you move...14 August 2012

Dear Logan,

I felt you move today for the first time, 14 August 2012.
It was amazing!!! For a few days now, I have been feeling something, but wasnt sure if it was you.
But today...I felt you so strongly.

I love you already...I am counting the days until I can hold you in my arms.

Daddy is also super excited to meet you, he just wants to buy you a bike KTM...and my nerves are shot about that! lol! But at the end I'm sure when you big enough you will enjoy it with him - and Mommy will just always pray for both of you to be protected and safe always. I have a feeling that you and Daddy are going to be best friends and that thought warms my heart.

Jade told Daddy yesterday in the car, she already loves you and she is happy we are having a little baby. I think you are going to love her, she is such a wonderful little girl and you get to have her as your big sister! I know how much I love my brother and how close we are, there is a bond between a brother and a sister that no one can break and I am so happy that you and Jade get to have that in life. Because no matter what, you will always have each other.

Everybody else can't wait to meet you too - you probably don't even realise how much you are loved already and much you will be loved your whole life. We are truly blessed because we have an army of family that consist of pure love and support - and no matter what you do, where you go- you will always have an army behind you!

I thank God for you Logan, you are my 2nd little miracle in life - and I will live my life and forever after thanking God for you and Jade.
