Babies and Bunnies....

This morning I took Jade to school and on our way she starts talking about Gavin and Robyn, this is how the conversation went:

Jade: I like Gavin

Mommy: He likes you too lovie

Jade: I like Robyn

Mommy: And she likes you

Jade: Robyn has a baby in her tummy

Mommy: Yes

Jade: Not Gavin?

Mommy: Not Gavin, Gavin is a boy he can't have a baby, only girls can have babies

Jade: Yes, only girls, like Mommy and Robyn, not boys like Gavin and Daddy

Mommy: Yes

Jade: Can Jade have a baby?

Mommy: Yes you can, because you are also a girl

Jade: Okay...(then she stares into the distance for awhile...thinking)...Mommy,

can I rather have a bunny?

It was so funny...I couldn't help but just start laughing!

I LOVE YOU JADIE PIE...and YOU ARE A FUNNY BUNNY!!! lol lol

The Elephants

All children should go to the circus atleast once! Jadie loved it, she loved the animals, her favourite were the Elephants and the Horsies! She didnt like the clowns she was also very vocal about it and she also didnt like the tigers and lion, I think she liked them until she saw how big they were.... But looking at her while she was so amazed by all that she saw made the whole day worth it.

From William and my point of few...its a disgrace how they treat the animals and how dirty it is. The people that work there are so unprofessional and rude and it was a huge dissapointment.

But then again, maybe we should try at look at everything in life through a childs eye, they have this tendency to miss all the "ugly" and only see the "beautiful" and "fun"

Lunch at Cape Town Fish Market

I love you Jade.....

The best day out of the whole holiday was the day we went to Ushaka Marine world. To say that Jade loved it is the biggest understatement ever.

We first went to the Seal show, she was in awe with the seal and what he can do. She said: "Mommy look the seal does ballet" lol lol

Then we walked through the Aquarium, and Jade couldnt get enough of all the fishies, and she loved the sharks, she wanted to catch a baby shark to put in her fish tank at home, lol lol!

For some unexplained reason she loved the sharks but is petrified of dolphins and I can not for the life of me think why. William even offered to buy her a dolphin stuff toy and she just refused she says: "No they will bite me"

In one of the tanks there was a diver and he came down to where Jade was standing and waved at her, she was OVER THE MOON! The whole time she was looking for him and asked: "Where did that man go?" It was very special, whoever you are....you made her day, thank you so much!

After a very exciting day we had a late lunch at Cape Town Fish Market and half way through lunch Jade fell asleep on my lap.

Was really the most precious, special day! Having child and seeing everything through their eyes is like living your childhood all over again with much much more appreciation!

Was a very exciting morning...having a well deserved nap with my new dolly BELLA

We had a wonderful Christmas!! Blessed with amazing family!

The morning Jade woke up early to go see if Santa actually did as we have been telling her the whole time and to her joy he did, under the tree was a truck load...or wait I mean a sleigh load full of prezzies!!

Her whole face lit up when she saw all the presents and she just kept saying, "Wow, Wow"

We first went to church and while the minister was praying she said, very loudly, "Mommy close your eyes, before Jesus comes" - the whole church just about burst out laughing. The service was beautiful and its always heartwarming to hear the story about Jesus' birth and how blessed we are to have God send His only Son to save us!

After church we got to open presents and Jade REALLY enjoyed that....so did Mommy! lol

We then joined the rest of William's family at Charles' house for a nice Christmas lunch!

Had a really special Christmas and a wonderful day.

Holiday Time.....

Jade had the best time ever on holiday! SHE LOVED THE BEACH AND THE SEA!!!!!

When she was sitting in the waves crashing over her, she said: "Look the sea looks like beer Daddy!"

We didnt get to go to the beach to often as the weather was not all that good, but the times we did go was priceless, to be honest any moment spend with Jade is priceless.
