Seeing that it is Women's month, there is a few women who deserves a BIG Thank you!

Jade just amazes me more everyday!
Never thought I would know love they way I love her...in the same breath...I understand only now why my own mother was always nagging, and begging and crying and I can now for the first time say YOU WERE RIGHT AND NOW THAT I AM A MOTHER I UNDERSTAND!

Thats where I come to the Thank you for the special Women in my life!

Mamma: Ek begin by Mamma, want Mamma is die heel belangrikste vrou in my lewe, my beste vriendin, my troosplek, my veilige plek, een van my sterkste steunpilare. Dankie dat Mamma so geduldig was met my en my altyd bygestaan het en nogsteeds bystaan. Ek is jammer vir die horror tienerjare wat ek Mamma gegee het, maar gelukkig weet ek ook nou 'n Ma se liefde is oneindig en vergifnis is groter as die see! Sonder Mamma sou ek nooit die Ma kan wees wat ek is nie, want daar was nie 'n beter voorbeeld as Mamma nie. Ek is so ongelooflik lief en dankbaar vir Mamma!

Ouma Caroline: Hoe bevoorreg is ek om Ouma in my lewe te he. Dankie vir al die jare se liefde en bystand. Ek het nog altyd geweet, maak nie saak wat nie, as ek terug kyk is Ouma reg agter my. Sonder vra van, hoekom en waarom, net altyd daar by my. Daar is 'n band tussen my en Ouma wat nie woorde nodig het nie, 'n band wat net ek en Ouma het en verstaan! Dankie, so baie dankie, vir die Vrou wat Ouma is, ons kan niks minder as trots wees om deel van Oumie se familie te wees nie! Lief Oumaie so baie!!!

Tannie Brenda: My Peetma, as ek Tannie in een woord kan opsom sal dit wees Liefde, want Tannie straal liefde vir almal en alles! Tannie is soos 'n positiewe lig in almal van ons se lewe! Maak nie saak in watste situasie jy jouself vind nie, Tannie het die manier om jou altyd die positiewe kant te laat sien en te besef: "Its not really that bad". Dis 'n gawe en ons is weereens DANKBAAR vir Tannie! Baie baie lief vir Tannie!

Mom: How lucky am I? Most women complain and moan about their mother in laws. But all I have for you are good and loving words, because that's all you are GOOD AND LOVING! You our safe haven, when we have a headache you always ready with a tablet and a hug to go with it! When we have a tummy ache, you have just the right syrup and loving word to make us feel better! I love you and thank you for accepting me in your family!

Tannie Jenelle: BOK VIR SPORTS!!! Dankie vir al die gesellige praatjies! Dankie Tannie, vir die liefde en dat Tannie my en Ian aanvaar het as kinders in julle huis en nou vir Jade as 'n eie kleinkind! Meeste van alles, uit my hart uit dankie dat Tannie my Pa so gelukkig maak!

Karen, Jy is die sagte sussie wat altyd met 'n koesterende woord langs my staan. Die een wat net goeie dinge raak sien in die lewe. Dis 'n verligting om saam jou tyd te spandeer, want dan besef mens, daar is nog sulke goeie mense soos jy in die wereld and all is not lost! Dankie vir dit!! Lief jou!

Lissa: You this amazing soft lovable person, who goes out of your way to please everyone, you sometimes doubt yourself - and no one understands why, because you are this amazing person...but maybe that's what makes you more special, you don't even realize how special you really are? Love you Lis!

Tracy: You the rock! You the person we can all count on all the time, DAY OR NIGHT! You are honest, you say it like it is, and I am thankful for you, because I know with you I will always be kept on the straight and narrow! You a real big sis and I am happy to be part of your family! Love you lots!

BFF aka Grizelda: Waar begin mens??? Voel amper of ek 'n blog alleen vir jou moet skryf..hehehehe! Hulle se bloed is dikker as water, maar as ek aan jou dink, dan voel ek partykeer of daardie gesegte nie van toepassing is nie! Jy is my tjomma, my huil maatjie, my stoutwees pel, my lag vriendin, my ernstige life decision beplan span! Ons is rug teen rug en jy maak altyd seker "im taken care off" Dankie dat jy altyd nog daar is, dit voel of jy daar is van die begin af en ek weet jy sal daar wees tot die einde!! God, Thank You for all these amazing, strong, loving women in my life! Thank You for the bond of sisterhood that only we as women understand. I pray that you will protect and guide all of us and never leave us, because without You we are nothing! I am blessed to have all of them in my life and I know they in my life only because You choose us for each other! Thank you... in Jesus name...AMEN

Jade 9 months...

I was thinking of alot of things to say about Jade turning 9 months! Because there is so much to say about her and how greatful we are for God for our miracle.

Saturday was her 9 month birthday and Oupa Brian said the perfect words to describe her. He looked at her and said to me she reminds him of Bostick. At first I didnt understand, then he said:

"She is the glue that keeps everyone together"

How special is that and how true...she is the glue that keeps us all toghether!

Jade...

We all love you so much, the list of people who treasure you is endless. How do we thank God for someone so special...we can only show gratitude by returning the love to Him our Father.

We hope you will always be this loving happy person you are today! Thank you for the joy your bring into all our lives, you truly are a blessing! :-)

Beautiful Jade...

Although the weekend away was amazing...there was a piece of my heart that was always back here in Pretoria.
Jade stayed with Granny Irene on Thursday evening, then Friday after work Ouma Nettie went to fetch her and she spend the weekend with her. I am sure spoiled rotten by both.

I didnt realize how much I missed her until I held her in my arms again on Sunday, it was so overwhelming that tears were running down my cheeks without stop...

I know I say this alot, but I can not Thank GOD enough for his precious miracle, for giving us to each other!

Children and mothers never truly part -

Our First Anniversay! :-)

We went to the Kruger Park!!!!!

Was the most amazing weekend...Myself and William haven't had time together alone for such a long time, so every second this weekend was treasured!
I only found out we are stying in the Park when we got there, first when we came close he asked me if I would like to take a drive in the Park before we go to the place we are sleeping (knowing that I LOVE THE PARK and would ofcourse say YES!!!). Then we went into Paul Kruger gate, drove up to Olifants camp, when we got there, he gave me the booking and said if you open this you will know where we are going and it said - 2 nights accomodation at Olifants!! I WAS SO HAPPY!!

We were very lucky, we saw lots of animals! The first day, we saw 4 of the Big 5 and on Sunday again 4 of them. Buffalo, Lion, Elephant & Rino's - just not leapords. Also saw lots of other animals, Giraffe, Zebra, Hippo's, "weer bokkie", Waterbuck, Fish eagle, Vultures, Wildebeest, Steenbokkies, Kudu and lots more...

But the best time of the weekend was spending every minute with William - just me and him! This weekend I just realized again how lucky I am to have him as a husband and friend, I know we were meant to be together!

Going away for our Anniversary!

Hi All,

Can you believe Saturday is our 1 year anniversary!!! How amazing is that? Even more so, how quickly did a year pass by?!

William is taking me away and I dont have a clue where we going....it's a suprise!!! YEAH!!! I LOVE SUPRISES!!!!! :-) I really really can't wait to spend the weekend with him, its going to be amazing...so the place we going to, wherever it might be, is just a bonus!

Just some reason's why William is the best husband in the world:

He instinctively knows when I need chocolate and a back rub, and delivers.

He listens, I mean really listens.

He understands the value of retail therapy. (lol)

He encourages my passions.

He makes sure I get time to myself.

He gives me computer lessons.

He appreciates my strengths and accepts my failings.

He helps me make the beds in the morning and helps me wash dishes in the evening, even though that’s my hangup and not his.

He knows what I’m going to say before I do.

He’s a loving, involved father.

He doesn’t expect me to cook, and is wildly appreciative when I do.

He loves God.

He still makes me laugh.

He is my best friend

And have you seen those baby blue eyes???

I am so blessed to have him as a husband, and so is Jade to have him as a father!
